It started out innocent enough… Okay, maybe not so innocent. Jay Brook’s was up to trouble. But not the kind of trouble he found….

Jay and his wheel chaired bound best friend Bennie are major computer geeks. Bennie is an expert hacker. And Jay hunts for Wi-Fi and then along with Bennie record “special moments” for people with the hopes to one day sell them back…. Unfortunately for Jay, he stumbled on a murder….

Jay’s life hasn’t been normal for quite some time. His mother, an agent with the FBI, was killed the year before in a car bomb. His father has pretty much stopped contacting with Jay as well as leaving his house. Jay assumed it was grief, but it was much, much more…..

Bennie has his own set of woes. He pretty much lives in his basement’s computer lab. He thinks his medical issues only involve his legs…. But, they don’t…

Once Bennie and Jay realize what they have witnessed they decide to make the most of their computer knowledge, and figure out what is exactly going on… And when they do, they realize that the reach of the sinister plan is far greater than just the town in which they live… It has the capability to change the world as they know it….

Upload, by Collin Tobin, is extremely faced paced. At first I thought I would have difficulty with all the technology that seemed to be in the novel, but that wasn’t the case. I was immediately transported into the story and fell in love with all the characters. But the best part, the premise of Upload, is very believable, and left me wondering for a long while after I finished reading the book, what if….

And when I keep wondering, I know I loved the book….for more information and more “tours”

Yes, what if for sure, I thought about your dream as soon as I started reading your post. The book sounds terrific and my Dad will have to download the Kindle version.

Pretty scary what we are able to do (and witness) with technology. It definitely makes you think about what’s going on online. Sounds like a pretty intense read!
