  1. Hilary, I’m behind on my reading too. I’m so sad to read Alex’s last post. Sending a prayer for strength for you and Alex too.

When we lost Baggle last year it was sad to watch our “fat cat” turn into the smallest kitty in the house. But although he wasn’t as energetic, his personality was still him. I hope Alex can keep hisspirits okay.

    1. Nani – Baggle sounds just like Alex. It wasn’t long ago that we tried to put Alex on a diet. His belly touched the ground. Now I feel every one of his bones. It is so sad. Like Baggle Alex is not as energetic but he is still himself too… And he seems happy so what more can we ask for….

  2. I would have no problem with going on vacation and Not doing any work! LOL
course that means, the kiddos would definitey be left at home with grandma and grandpa. or, ya know..someone else without a violent criminal record. ha.
but I’d still blog, tweet, like, pin, etc. — that’s not work to me. that’s fun!

Continuing to keep Alex in our thoughts and prayers! <3

    1. Leslie – “or someone without a violent criminal record” love that… Blogging & tweeting are fun… But in some ways I feel like I have to keep up with it (and then it becomes work like). Unfortunately thanks to today’s technology, the real vacation is dead… I have to stay in contact with work…. Part of me loves it but part really wouldnt mind a break

  3. I’m exactly opposite you on number 2… I’d much prefer sneakers over high heels!!! I love to swim by far my favorite way to work out… lately, I’ve been swimming almost daily and not bothering with other exercise.
    Hugs and kisses to Alex!!!

    1. Susi -Alex & I send hugs back… I swim a lot in hte summer too but by the time I get into a grove the summer ends…

  4. Awwww sweet Alex!! We continue to send many purrs and hugs to him! Yay!
p.s. oh heels over sneakers all the time!! 🙂

    Take care

  5. I’m so sorry to hear that Alex is not doing well. My dog is getting up in years and I am so dreading when she gets to that point.

    1. Tami – I hope you have many more years with your dog before she gets to this point… Alex really aged fast… it is very sad

  6. Technology has its good and bad points. It’s nice to be accessible at all times, but sometimes I want to be inaccessible. Times sure have changed.

    Enjoy your weekend.

    1. Arlene – I know exactly what you mean… Sometimes you just need a break where no one can find you… sadly today’s technology makes that hard…

  7. Heels….really? I am going to a wedding in September and all I wear are Birkenstock, not sure what I’m going to do. The technology is taking away our fun. I was so mad when I didn’t have a signal at the cabin in Mammoth Lakes but it was actually the best blessing ever!

    1. Deborah – They make a lot of really nice flats…You don’t have to wear heels – but maybe you shouldn’t wear the birkenstocks either 🙂 I agree – technology has taken away our fun. We are all so busy broadcasting what we are doing that sometimes i feel we miss out on what we are doing…

    1. Meomeowmans – I like barefoot the best too.. Thanks for all your purrs and prayers… we all appreciate it!

    1. Pip – It used to be 5 – but now it is 7… and seven is better than the alternative – if you get my drift…

  8. Alex, we think about you every day and glad to hear that you are hanging in there. We sure are sending tons of purrs and are crossing our paws for ya. We know those peeps are taking such good care of you. Take care.

    1. Marg – thanks so much… I can use all the purrs I can get… My peeps are doing a good job… I love them as I do all my friends…
