My Answers:
1. I never sleep late on a weekend (thanks Alex)
2. Memorial day is my favorite holiday (after all, it is the unofficial start of summer)
3. I think my biggest issue is that I lack patience, and try to do everything immediately
4. When there is a little bit of rain I know my commute will take forever!

Funny how we both chose our commutes for number 4! I’d have to agree, if it rains, people drive backwards!!

Jennifer – so funny. Thanks for co-hosting… I will eventually make my way to everyone. I always say people drive backwards too. I don’t get it. It is like if there is a little moisture everyone forgets how to drive!

Yup. A little rain and i know I need to leave extra early to drop the kids off. As if the drive isn’t bad enough on a normal day!!! And i guess we are lucky… my zoo lets me sleep… the humans not so much!!!

Oh, how I miss sleeping late on weekends! It’s the only thing I’m looking forward to about (eventually) having teenagers! They sleep a lot, don’t they?

Memorial Day is a great choice!!! And yes—it is the start of summer which after looking out the window this morning I wish was a tad bit closer……boo snow.

I am a reprogrammed nocturne. I’m always up between 6 and 7 in the morning, even on weekends. But that’s because of my husband. I go to bed much earlier than when I was single so I don’t creep in and wake him up later. It’s all good – I’m more productive earlier in the day! Maybe I should reconsider Memorial Day. I used to love it back in my workaholic days because there was always something big going on for work. Now it’s just not something that any part of my fam9ily makes a big deal about.

Nani – it is funny, before I met Marc I was more of a night owl. Now, I follow his schedule and go to sleep earlier, and wak by 5:30… I actually like it much better because I am able to accomplish way more in the early hours of the day…

My internal alarm clock goes off at 5 a.m. and I can’t seem to find anyone to fix it. I have learned to deal with it. Actually, I love the mornings, the quietness before the routine of the day begins.

Hi – I have been having trouble getting to your blog all week. Whenever I would try, I would get an error. I finally tried another browser and it seemed to work. Yea!
P.S.: I am totally impatient, too!

Pip – my impatience is to blame for the blog issues. When I switched themes, my feed stopped working. Rather than waiting for someone to help me, I just went to a forum and changed thee myself and took the entire blog down. Finally i got help, and the browser issue is the only remaining…I am giving him a break before I try to fix / ask him for help

If I hadn’t just done one of these I would do it! I also can NEVER sleep in on the weekend and it drives me mad! I know I’m exhausted from the week, but cannot (for the life of me) get myself to sleep in. Let me know if you find a solution to this problem hehe

Great answers, Hilary. I can especially identify with numbers one and four. Sammy’s stomach clock *never ever* fails to get him going in the morning. And yes, the traffic seems to multiply exponentially when it rains, doesn’t it?
