I dated a guy so commitment phobic I wrote a book about our relatable, humorous, and emotionally draining relationship - DANGLED CARAT I have an unhealthy addiction to denim and shoes. I love to find humor in every day life. And I liken life to a game of dodgeball - I try to keep many balls in the air before they smack me in the face. 1. oh me too with jello! that’s all my mom could eat in the hospital.
we were all gagging by the time she was released. but, I suppose if that is the worse part of your hospital stay – that’s not so bad afterall.

Rorybore – When you put it like that, I guess it isn’t that bad…. It is funny when I was a kid I went to a friends house and I freaked out because her brother was eating jello. I was sure he had the stomach virus and I couldn’t leave fast enough because I didn’t want to get it!

  2. Just an FYI – Mom started reading your book today and loves it! she has cried in a few spots. Did not know that Alex was Marc’s.

  3. Aaaah, bubble baths. I wish I had one in my current apartment, but unfortunately it only has a shower.

  4. Jello makes me think of childhood. I cannot do a bath; I get restless! I agree about funny people; I love them! What is this “sleep” of which you speak?? Hug!

  5. I wish we could buy sleep or just take a pill to put sleep in our systems. I need SLEEP

  6. I’m scared of jello, that stuff is creepy!

  7. Jello has always been our go to when we were sick. If you triple dilute it, it becomes a drink.

  8. Jello makes me think of being in the hospital. Last year when I was in the hospital for two weeks, I couldn’t even eat the jello. I couldn’t eat much of anything. No wonder I dropped below a 100 pounds. Thanks for hosting the fill-in fun. Be sure to come over to check out my new blog home, Hilary! ;)

  9. William Kendall says:

So I’m not the only one who associates it with being sick.

  10. ___Tulip____ reminds me of ___spring__.
    I find_____spring___very __great___
    My __ favorited ___ people are __ amazing _
Too Happiness we need a healthy nature

    Thanks for sharing
Happy weekend, happy springtime, best regards, Wieczora (◔‿◔)

  11. Sleep – yep, don’t we all need it, but it always seems such a waste of time, right? A bubble bath – a tub was a ‘must have’ when we got our home, I guess that says it all ;)

  12. Jello… never was my thing even when I am sick.

And yes, sleep.. I will be spending many hours with that word this weekend.

    TGIF!

  13. Jello reminds me of being sick as a child, too!

  14. Hilary,
thanks for hosting, good to be back on the friday fun hop :) work took me away from my blogging
temp, but I am back now….hugs to you and hope you have a great weekend

  15. Bubble baths are the best : ) I wish we didn’t need to sleep either – think of haw much more we could get done : ) Have a good weekend x

  16. Bubble bath + candles = pure bliss!!! And jello is such an American thing, I’m still not very fond of it and my kids won’t have anything to do with it at all… That’s probably because I never bought it for them.

  17. I’ve never thought of Jello that way. That bubble bath sounds like a great idea. Hope your having a nice weekend.

  18. I used to eat yogurt pops or something like that when I was sick. They always had Scooby Doo on them I think but can’t remember the actual name. Mom to the rescue–I love it!

TBM – Mom to the rescue – I love it too! I never had yogurt pops when I was a sick kid. So jealous. And didn’t you love scooby do?
