  1. We just wanted to stop by with thanks for the purrs for Nicki. Both boys have been very sick with the nastiest URI I’ve ever seen in any of my cats, and it’s entailed multiple vet vi$itS, meds, blah blah. I have my fingers and toes crossed that they’ve turned the corner, though, and are (slowly) on the mend.

We hope Lucy is doing well and wish you all a great weekend!

    1. Fuzzy – I am so sorry about what the boys are going through.. it is so hard and scary to see them so sick. My fingers and toes are also crossed and lucy has her paws crossed as well!

  2. I am with you on driving in the snow. I also asked D H if we had to go out today because it is bitterly cold. Instead I will stay under an afghan and dream warm thoughts.

    1. Kisma – no! It sure isn’t… although during one of the snowstorms I actually made a snowman… myself it was a lot of fun! Have a great weekend too!

  3. I’m totally with you on enjoying snow as an observer not a driver, Hilary! Ironic timing on the post…I’ve soooo wanted to be a kid the past few weeks. The adult thing has not been much fun 🙁

  4. I guess we learn to drive in the snow often, so it’s just a normal think for 6 months of the year for us.
Although, on really bad days or a blizzard even we don’t go anywhere if we don’t have to.

I’m definitely a night blogger. although I am trying to do more during the day when the kids are in school.

    1. Rorybore – 6 months of the year, snow.. UGH! But I guess that is the difference. You guys are used to it. Here, we get snow every year, but not that much, and it sometimes feels like everyone is driving in it for the first time. You wouldn’t believe how a few flurries affect traffic!

    1. William – I was about to say that I don’t think that I ever blogged at night, and then I remembered that a few times last summer I sat on our balcony, late at night, reading blogs. It was great!
